Sanyasis get to know of all this and condems Sahasrarjun. But Sahasrarjun is untouched and starts to trouble all sanyasis in his territory and questions their existence even though they were the ones who taught him how to fight. Sanyasis even come to know that it was S who had stolen cows from hermitages using petty thieves. S is shocked on how the sages came to know about it. Since the sage messenger openly tells in the open court that it was S who had stolen the cow, S is hugely insulted and hence S kills the messenger sage right then and there. Everybody is shocked at this.
Vishnu has had had enough, and takes birth in J’s wife’s womb as ‘Ram’ while Lakshmi herself helps Renuka as a maid.
J’s wife, Renuka had once accompanied her mom to visit a sage to see why Renuka & her mom hadnt been able to beget a son. Renuka, since she married J, is now a Brahmin but her mom is a Kshatriya. So the sage gave two glasses of milk - a Brahmin milk and a Kshatriya milk. Accidentally Renuka drank milk which belonged to her mom’s to give birth to a Kshatriya (warrior). Her mom, hence drunk "Brahmin" milk meant to Renuka. As a result, Renuka’s mom gave birth to Vishwamithra, who became a saint in Kshatriya kin, while Renuka gave birth to Ram, who inherently is a Kshatriya, in a Brahmin kin. Hence Ram had a natural tendency to fight than preach like other Brahmin pupil. He had no interest in learning any scriptures, much to his dad's chagrin. When Ram sees Sahasrarjun's atrocities to the hermitage, his goal in life is to kill S. So Ram starts practising archery in prep to kill S.
His dad refuses to be his archery guru too. So, he learns on his own. He even creates a bandit of young sages - all trying to learn how to fight. During one such practise session, they see S's soldiers. So Ram attacks them all. But he is overpowered. So he runs to a Shiva temple. He takes the Trishul from Shiva idol and kills all the soldiers in high fury. Looking at the fury, Lord Shiva comes to life and tells him that it is not so easy to kill S just by killing his soldiers. He should do a difficult penance for 10 years since even Sahasrarjun has done an equally difficult penance to get a 1000 arms. Lord Shiva then accepts Ram as Guru and asks him to report to Kailash soon.
Ram agrees and walks to Himalayas. Shiva praises Ram upon seeing Ram’s bloody feet (because of the walk).
