J asks a job off Parashuram, which the latter swears he will do it. When both return to the ashram to see J’s wife, J orders P to execute his promise, that to kill his mother. P is shocked and heart broken. But he is vachan-badh (promise-bound). So he cuts his mother’s head off.
J is very pleased with his son and grants him any wish. P asks for his mother, which J reluctantly offers him back with all his sanyasi powers. Then Parashuram goes and gives his peace of mind to J, telling him how such an esteemed sage like him can suspect wife of foul play. If he does this, then what about layman. Suddenly J understands his mistake. He goes and says sorry to Renuka. She says that she has to forget whatever happened. Now, all the misunderstanding and communication is cleared and J and J’s wife renuka are happy hubby and wife again!
Lakshmi asks Vishnu what was that all about to which Vishnu says that a son or daughter should not take either parents' side without knowing full facts. It is better to leave them alone and not interfere. Also not to promise something without knowing what is being committed to.
P now sets out to kill Sahasrarjun, who in the ensuing fight, is no match to P, and is inches away from the Parashu, when Sahasrarjun’s wife Nirmayi stops him and pleads his life. P lets him free. But Sahasrarjun sends his army to attack the ashram. P kills all soldiers, like Killbill(!) and J is shocked to see so many dead bodies in his ashram and hence orders P to leave the ashram as he is against Brahminship.
J says it is tradition of Brahmins to not abort to violence. P says to hell with tradition. Meanwhile Vishnu asks Lakshmi what is tradition. L replies that tradition is the good qualities that ties us to our past. Vishnu agrees. But he says while one should follow traditions one should not stick to tradition at dire times such as this when there is so much violence.
